Pfitsch – a dream
destination in South Tyrol
Your gaze runs over the magnificent mountain skyline. All you can hear is the Pfitscher stream babbling cheerfully, and soft birdsong filling the air. Back to the origins
In ancient times, this wasn’t a valley
It used to be a large lake, until a rock fall changed the landscape forever over a thousand years ago, forming the Pfitschtal valley as you can see it now – with the high peaks of the Zillertal Alps and Mt. Hochfeiler at their centre, rolling meadows, vast forests and crystal-clear mountain tarns. A natural paradise for mountain lovers of all ages, to be enjoyed in every season.
